TRIP TO NYC
June 14-24
This was Stevii and Davis' first time back to NYC since we left for the Philippines, so it was fun for them to visit their friends there...

Sarah, Stevii and Becky - the triplets - are reunited...

Stevii and Sarah enjoying icees from the icee man. We used to love getting icees after school. Alas, there was no mango flavor this time!

Josh, Davis and Sam look at the "very interesting" pokidek book while in the subway heading to Times Square for dinner at Ellen's Stardust Diner where the wait staff sings...this was one of the kids' dinner requests...

Amalia arrived on Thursday and we spent a fun day taking random pictures of New York City as if we were professional photographers (I guess you can be the judge based on what you see in the blog here). We got tickets for A Chorus Line, Godiva, did some shopping and all those other things girls so...overall a terrific end of the trip!

And what better and more traditional way (okay 2nd time tradition for me) than to hit Godiva and have the ever present chocolate covered strawberry. Please watch the wonderful birthday celebration in action...

So that's that...

For my birthday, I also went to visit Tracey in Chatham, NJ where we enjoyed some beading in the nearby town of Summit. After much contemplation I settled on a fun bracelet, which I then watched the lady make. I am soooo creative!

To cap off my birthday night, Mary Beth and I took the girls to Lincoln Center to watch the Romeo and Juliet Ballet and enjoy a nice glass of champagne during intermission. Happy Birthday to me and thanks everyone for making it so special...
