Factory worker pounding uniform dents in the finished pewter vase. We tried it - it's not that easy! Apparently they go through 6 months of training to be able to do this!

Just a pretty pewter picture - this is actually a tiled wall in the showroom.

The Batu Caves - a huge staircase leads up into the cavern and there are Hindu temples inside - and monkeys - lots of monkeys. Interestingly, the latest episode of "The Amazing Race: All Stars" just went here! I knew what they were feeling going up the 272 stairs into the cave. I was actually sick with aching bones and muscles and had to take a few at a time, but I'm sure it's not fun even in full health. I saw several people resting on the climb up.
Some facts that our driver told us while we were headed to the caves: 54% of the population is Malay and most of them are Muslim. Another 25% or so are Hindu and then Buddhist and Christian, etc. Apparently all live in harmony here (not in the cave, but in Kuala Lumpur in general).
