Memorial building that houses over 8,000 skulls and clothing remnants of victims of the Killing Fields. Can you believe that this was only 30 years ago?
This is a classroom/interrogation room/torture chamber at the S21 (museum now) prison used by the Khmer Rouge to house prisoners on their way to the Killing Fields. Leaders of the regime who are still alive today, claim they didn't know this prison exsisted. They are still waiting to be prosecuted, but many of them currently hold government positions.
