A view across the river at the National Palace.

Me, Krissie, Kim, Michelle R., Tepy and Ravuth at a delicious Cambodian dinner with a perfect background of live Cambodian music. We tried fried tofu, fish, Cambodian "pizza", veges, soup, salad - you name it. Cambodians are totally under-recognized for their cuisine! And the french influence in the bread making was incredible!

Below is our pit stop to the bakery on the way to the airport. Tepy and Ravuth so graciously took us around the city to see the sights, to Tepy's home to meet her parents (her father was my aunt and uncle's language helper in the years before the Khmer Rouge Regime) and then to dinner. And if that wasn't enough, they took us to dinner as well and answered hundreds of questions from us about their country and their people - the things we had been dying to ask all week! We love Cambodian hospitality!
